Our Values

Our Values
Guiding Every Paw, Every Child, Every Step

Founded by Harsh and Rachna Jain, Raksha Foundation was built on a simple yet powerful belief: compassion has no boundaries. Whether it’s an injured stray animal or a child growing up without access to quality education, both deserve care, dignity, and a real chance at life.

At the heart of our work—rescuing animals and empowering underprivileged children—are a set of core values that guide everything we do.

For Animals:
1. Compassion First: We treat every animal with kindness, empathy, and respect—no matter their condition, age, or background.
2. Every Life Matters
Whether it’s a street dog hit by a vehicle or a cat suffering from illness, we believe every life is worth saving, and we act swiftly to provide trauma care, treatment, and comfort.

For Kids:
1. Equal Opportunity for Every Child: We believe education is a right, not a privilege. Every child, no matter their economic background, deserves access to learning, resources, and encouragement.
2. Safe, Nurturing Spaces: Our learning centers are safe havens where children can express themselves freely, learn without judgment, and build confidence for the future.

Though our work spans both animals and children, our values remain rooted in the same soil: care, dignity, empowerment, and action. We believe real change happens when we extend our empathy beyond our own kind—and work toward a kinder, more inclusive world for all living beings.
