Harsh & Rachana Jain established Raksha Foundation to streamline their growing social service efforts and philanthropic initiatives under one dedicated platform. Over the years, the couple had been actively involved in supporting stray animal welfare, children’s education, healthcare, and community relief. As their personal initiatives expanded, so did the need for a more structured, transparent, and impactful way to serve.

Today, Raksha is not just an NGO — it’s a living extension of their belief in compassion, dignity, and equal opportunity for all, whether it's a child in need or a voiceless animal on the street.
Dr. Rachana Shah-Jain
Dr. Rachana Shah Jain is an accomplished dentist with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery from Dr. DY Patil College and a post graduate degree from the NYU College of Dentistry, where she specialised in Prosthodontics, aesthetics and Implants. She founded Toothcraft, her dental clinic in South Mumbai, in 2014. She is the lead dentist there and heads a team of doctors to cater to the needs of all the patients. Rachana’s hobbies include painting, cooking, adventure sports and education. She loves sharing her love for art, craft and all things creative with her sons.

Rachana has always excelled in academia, but it was her desire to help others that got her to become a doctor. Today, as a dentist, Rachana continues to serve those that cannot afford the best medical care with free or extremely subsidized treatment at her clinic. Through her academic journey, Rachana realised how a good education can empower people and make them independent enough to stand on their own two feet. This is why Rachana wants to help underprivileged children get the best possible education: so that they can write their own destiny and follow their dreams.
Harsh Jain
Harsh Jain is the CEO and Co-Founder of Dream Sports, India’s leading sports tech company with brands such as Dream11, FanCode, DreamCricket25, Sixer & DreamSetGo in its portfolio. He founded Dream11 in 2008 and has led it to become the world’s largest fantasy sports platform with 230M+ users. Bringing together his love for sports and technology, Harsh is always working to ‘Make Sports Better’ for every Indian sports fan. A lifelong Manchester United, Mumbai Indians and Indian Cricket Team fan, Harsh completed his engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his MBA from Columbia Business School.

​Harsh has always been very passionate about animals from a very young age. As a child, he used to feed stray cats in his building every day, and even unsuccessfully tried to adopt a kitten one day by bringing it home! As he grew up, Harsh would carry food for animals in his car every day and feed any stray he would see on the road. One of his best ways to unwind is to spend a weekend in his Lonavala home with his dogs.
